What Dreams May Come

What dreams may come if we would always try
To grasp the fiery tails of shooting stars,
And soar so high on paths Fear and Doubt bar
While chasing Ambitions into the sky?

A lot of people sit around and sigh,
And give up on dreams 'fore they get too far.
These old and feeble spirits always are
Surpassed by strong ones who won't let dreams die.

If you just let Opportunity go,
Then that's subtracting from your whole life's sum-
"Could I have done or not?" you never knew.

It seems that we will always want to know
Before we even think what dreams may come,
Exactly if what dreams may come come true.
