Controversial poem/rap that basically describes my views on today's society |
What is wrong with the society of today? Doesn’t anyone give a f*ck about what I have to say!? I hope this opens your eyes And you realise What we’ve let ourselves into By taking part of this society that is so screwed. I’m trying to rap it 'Cause I’m not brave enough to say it; Maybe like this people will read it Even though they won’t take any notice of it… Go into town Have a walk around All you have to do is to be ‘normal’ No-one cares if you’re respectful. ‘cause Trying to be ‘perfect’ Is the most important thing Who cares about health? All is good if you’re not ‘ming’… They think it’s ‘cool’ To make people drool But they are unaware That it’s unfair For people that don’t enter the game Who are left out and considered lame. And what gets me is children Being brought up to look good Like those people that are heroes for them teaching them the wrong things and not ones that they should Like studying to make sure you have a good future, Or enjoying yourself without killing yourself at least in summer! But no, even from an early age It seems like they’re inside a cage Where all they can worry about Is laughing at people that are less physically attractive… That they have a life is something I doubt, But it seems like these people just don’t give… People with an illness Or that suffer a disease, They make fun of all this When those people are hurt with ease. Get on a moped at 14, Have an accident and claim it’s the road’s fault For not being clean Or there wasn’t enough asphalt. Don’t you think It could have been caused by all the drink You’d had an hour earlier Or by the fact that you got a moped you didn’t know how to steer? Although the other theory Speaks quite clearly Maybe it was the weight of both of you? Don’t worry, it’s something normal to do When you don’t take any notice of the traffic lights Cause your b*tch thinks slowing down bites. Soz but there’s no other word If you want to get your voice heard You have to be severe, Isn’t that right, dear? What would your parents say If they knew you were getting raped every day? ‘No, he’s not like the other perverts, he loves me for who I am and tells the truth even though it hurts.’ Well don’t come crying to me If he’s not as nice as you thought he would be, Nor when he drugs you And makes you do things you don’t want to do. Being popular is at a high price And I don’t want to pay it, I’d rather be quiet and nice Than an dirty-minded little git. Maybe I’m just jelous For not killing myself daily Oh come on! Please be serious I’m not a masochist like they may be! Alcohol, tobacco… It’s all the same A shame these people think it’s only a game. They’ll soon realise when they’re suffering from a serious illness That it’s too late, but all they can do is wait knowing that their life has been wasted and that it’s now time for an eternal rest. Thankfully not everyone has entered the game, And that’ll always remain the same. I know a few people who think the same as me Although maybe not so radically… I’m sure there are more people out there But unfortunately we can’t but stand and stare. Hopefully someday we’ll be able to do something Apart from rap and live silently To change everything And live happily.
