Andrea Banducii, a freshman honor student at Montana State, hurried past the Student Union building worried she would be late for Ancient Cultures of Lycia, her favorite class.

A conservative Midwest farm girl, Andrea's long, auburn hair brushed the lapels of her surplus store pea jacket. As she ran, her bookish glasses slid down the bridge of her nose. A girl who rarely made eye contact unless she knew or liked someone, she smiled as her father's quiet, gravelly, Dakota wheat farmer's voice came to mind, "Andy, you shouldn't hide your beautiful eyes. They are as big and blue as the Montana Sky."

Andrea erupted into the lecture hall, her books askew. She imagined that all eyes were on her as she made her way to an empty seat. A hot flush filled her cheeks and her heart skipped when Dr. Lentz said, "Glad you could join us, Miss Banducii."

She returned a knowing smile, wondering what her mother, God rest her soul, would think, and how the other students would look at her if they knew that before class the esteemed Dr. Lentz had ignited her now trembling body with his passionate embrace.
