Blah

Is it just me or does it always rain on thursdays? Here I am at the bus stop again, having missed the bus again, knowing that the next one won't be along for fifteen minutes again. Its Thursday and yes it is raining. I have been keeping note and for three months now it has rained every thursday. I know this sounds like a crazy thing to do but really i just put a tick on my calender every thursday. It's not like i note the quantities of rain or the pressure or whatever it is your meant to note about rain. I first noticed that it always rained on Thursdays just over three months ago. I was standing at this exact place and thinking wow it hasn't rained for a week (the previous thursday didnt click then though) then out of no where it started pouring down. I'm not kidding it had been bright sunshine one minute and then voomph. I was soaked in about three seconds flat. When I got to work late because I had missed the bus again, it took me hours to dry off and I just thought bloody thursdays. Over the next week we had brilliant weather and then the next Thursday it rained. This is when I began to notice the connection, it always rains on Thursdays. And while I know it always rains on Thursdays, do you think I ever manage to remember my umbrella? So here I am soaked to the skin again just like every Thursday. Yes i'm going to be late for work again just like every Thursday, and yes i'm going to have a terrible day just like every Thursday!

The following Wednesday night.... I have decided to get myself completely prepared for tomorrow's rain, even though the forecast is sunny, it's always sunny. Not only this but i'm getting up fifteen minutes early tomorrow just so i wont be late again! So not only do I have my umbrella tucked safely into my bag, i have also invested in a brilliant new waterproof jacket which i am really quite impressed with....
...Thursday morning. I am up and ready and just leaving the house, it looks quite sunny out there but i'm still going prepared. I've made it to the bus stop, i'm five minutes early and there is no sign of rain yet. four minutes, no rain...three minutes, no rain... two minutes, no rain... one minute, no rain. Okay now I am on the bus and it hasn't rained yet but it will I'm sure. It is a Thursday afterall....
...Thursday evening. Okay so It didn't rain today, the first Thursday in three months; this leads me to another question, why does it never rain when you have an umbrella in your bag?
