A poem written about how I viewed my self during the time of adolescence.
My mind slipping from the clutch of my hand,
no longer do I realize where it is that I stand.

My soul is beginning to drain all of its being,
no longer do I realize the things I am constantly seeing.

My heart becoming raw from all these harsh emotions,
no longer do I realize how to cope with these commotions.

My senses escaping from my consceince lost,
no longer do I realize what my actions may cost.

My control on life dealing with these situations wrongfully,
no longer do I realize not to snap or live joyfully.

My life losing all of its meaning of the word forgive,
no longer do I realize how I am supposed to live.
