A poem I made after I was daydreaming behind my desk. |
Thoughts of an Inspiration "Like so many times before I walk the lands of imagination, Walk the lands, the plains, the forests like it was real. Wander around for hours without hesitation, Through the lands of my imagination. So many times I visited this realm, the realm of my imagination, Can I live without it, can I be without it? My reality, so mistaken, so full of temptation, This is where I wish to roam, the world that is my imagination. Why am I alone here in this beautiful imagination, Why do I walk the lands on my own? You should join me here, in this dream of elevation, Join me in my world of imagination. Yet this world is not pure imagination, It may look like my own creation. It is full of reality, full of imitation, This world is not just my imagination. You created the world with your own imagination, You made it the way you liked. Now see my world, full of sensation, Look around in my imagination. O'er the boundaries of my thoughts and imagination, You cannot touch me, cannot hurt me, here where I am free. You shall not destroy my world with your revelation, Because this is my world, my imagination. My world is open to those who share my imagination, Those who live in other's creation. They can join me, leave reality's temptation, And be with me in my imagination. Join me in my realm, be part of my world, a part of my imagination, Or stay in the real world and be a part of my inspiration." I die |
