A Round-Ole' Poem.
You ever wake up feeling blue?
Not the shade of sky beyond your window,
but closer to a gray hue.

Not the shade of sky beyond your window?
Unless a storm is brewing
and its edges easily show.

Unless a storm is brewing?
Sometimes it rains while the sun shines
and things die as others are renewing.

Sometimes it rains while the sun shines?
But we shouldn't live wearing masks;
our feelings are not fine wines.

But we shouldn't live wearing masks?
Never be ashamed of who you are,
for the air grows thick behind worn masks.

Never be ashamed of who you are?
To feel alive, you must live;
a stiffled life won't go far.

To feel alive, you must live?
Run, shout, laugh, and cry;
give all that you've got to give.

Run, shout, laugh, and cry?
Just an inkling of what can be done
to help us survive and get by.

Just an inkling of what can be done?
Let yourself feel however you're feeling;
live for that moment and not another one.

Let yourself feel however you're feeling?
You ever wake up feeling blue?
Then you're already living and your mask is peeling.

You ever wake up feeling blue?
Not the shade of sky beyond your window,
but closer to a gray hue.
