An Acrostic Tribute for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Mountaintops bow to lift you in their presence.
America is proud to call you Her Son.
Rejoicing abounds at the sound of your name.
Tomorrow is mine, for you loved, struggled, and marched through the night.
I owe you so much, yet
No dream I could dream would be grander than yours.

Love has no color; you
Understood this.
Together with many, you led the storm, your blood, the water dousing the flames.
Hate was defeated in no small way,
Ensuring liberty, freedom, and justice for all,
Reminding America of Her Fathers' Creed--We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal.

Knowledge is key
In remembering this--
No one should forget, for freedom is a
Gift.

Justice lit your fire and your flame burns on--a
Reminder, Martin, your dream lives on.
