Grokster Suess style story about Malcolm in the Middle

In the town of Oddville, where things went kerfloo,
Lived a boy named Malcolm, with a brain that just grew!
Not the youngest, not oldest, but right in the middle,
Malcolm’s life was a puzzle, a trick, and a riddle.

His mom, Lois, was loud, with a voice like a gong,
She’d holler and bellow when things went all wrong.
“Malcolm, Reese, Dewey, you boys better heed!
Clean your rooms, do your chores, or I’ll ground you indeed!”

His dad, Hal, was a dreamer, with schemes that would flop,
He’d build kites, bake cakes, or make soap that would pop.
“Oh, Malcolm, my boy,” Hal would say with a grin,
“Let’s invent a new gizmo—where shall we begin?”

Reese, the big brother, was trouble galore,
He’d prank and he’d tussle, then prank even more.
With a wink and a nudge, he’d make chaos unfold,
Like a Whozit from Whoville, but ten times as bold.

Dewey, the youngest, had stories to tell,
He’d sing of wild creatures from Zizzer-Zazell.
With a twinkle, he’d dodge all the messes they’d make,
Sneaking cookies and giggles while others would quake.

And Malcolm? Oh, Malcolm! His mind was a whir,
A genius, a thinker, the smartest, for sure.
But being so clever in Oddville’s wild scene,
Was like herding a Snizzle with only one bean.

One day, in their house, where the walls seemed to sway,
A kerfuffle erupted—it happened this way:
Reese built a tower of pancakes and glue,
While Dewey sang ballads of a Snort-Snicking Zoo.

Lois stormed in, her eyes like a flare,
“You boys and your nonsense! It’s too much to bear!”
But Hal, ever hopeful, said, “Let’s make it fun!
We’ll turn this disaster to joy for each one!”

Malcolm, though, sighed, for he saw through the din,
“This family’s a circus—where do I begin?”
He thought and he plotted, his brain all a-buzz,
“I’ll fix this,” said Malcolm, “because I’m who does!”

With a flick of his wit and a plan that was sly,
He rigged up a contraption to tidy and fly.
It scooped up the pancakes, the glue, and the mess,
And sorted their chaos with zazzle and zest.

The house became calm, like a Sneetch on a beach,
And Lois, amazed, gave a smile that could teach.
“Malcolm, my boy, you’re a wonder, it’s true!
You’ve tamed this wild Oddville—what else can you do?”

But Malcolm just grinned, for he knew in his heart,
That chaos would bubble again from the start.
In the middle he’d stay, with his smarts and his spark,
Guiding his family through Oddville’s wild lark.

So here’s to young Malcolm, in the middle he thrives,
In a house full of crazies, where madness survives.
With a wink and a nod, he’ll keep steering their way,
Through the zany, wild world of each Oddville day!
