Alone At The Edge.

1st song written by me.
I am not a singer, but this will have 2 people singing it. It's a free verse.

(VOICE 01)
Alone, at the edge of everything.
Where now? I have nowhere to go.
The world holds its breath,
And the air feels a bit too stiff/still.
All alone, standing there...
I don't know how I should live.

(VOICE 02)
Alone, is that what you think you are?
Why now? Please don't walk away.
The wind hits our face,
As we stay there hand in hand.
All alone, doesn't mean...
You don't have me by your side.

This is not really meant to be read as a poem. Unfortunately, I cannot share an audio here. So what are your thoughts? I am putting it in poetry.

PERSON 01 is at the edge, literally and figuratively, and Person 02 is trying to help them. There is more back to back but I couldn't think of more.
