Echoes of Arrogance

In the heart of the bustling area of Gulshan, where the elites unwind, Bidisha, an heiress to a wealthy political family arrives to seek solace amid the swirl of champagne and gossip.

Enters Ishaan, a charming figure from the upper-middle class, reveling in attention yet showing no interest. His arrogance knows no bounds as he relishes rejecting his admirers coldly.

Their paths cross on one fateful evening at a glamorous nightclub, where Bidisha witnesses Ishaan's disrespectful refusal to a lovestruck admirer. Appalled by his cruelty, Bidisha leans over to her friend and voices her opinion.

"That man seems far too cruel to be adored like that, don't you think?" she remarks, her gaze fixed on Ishaan's arrogant smirk.

Bidisha's friend nods, introducing Ishaan as a notorious yet arrogant ladies' man. Her gaze remains fixed on Ishaan. Soon they exchange glances across the room. Little does he know, his ego and status is about to get shattered by her.

"That arrogance will be my trophy soon," Bidisha says to her friend, sipping her champagne with a wicked smile on her face.

As time passed, Bidisha's actions and words demonstrated a deepening affection for Ishaan. Ishaan was captivated by her genuine emotions of concern as she expertly staged intimate situations. Rumors of their developing romance spread fast because their social circles knew about their interactions. Smug over being chosen by Bidisha as his partner , Ishaan revealed in the compliments.

Meanwhile, Bidisha maintained her facade, tricking everyone into believing she was in love with Ishaan when, in reality, she had other ideas. "You mean the world to me," she whispered, her words tinged with deceit.

Unbeknownst to Ishaan, he was slipping further into Bidisha's devious trap, and that the lady he thought he loved would soon put his status and ego to the test.

Beneath the twinkling stars, where dreams take flight, Ishaan crafted a scene, a symphony of delight. With a diamond gleaming, he awaited her there, knowing she was the one, his only true pair. As Bidisha stepped in among the friends and family, he knelt down with hope in his heart.

"Marry me?" he whispered, with gentle pleas, but her laughter cut through, with cruelty.

"I can't accept," she said. "We're not meant to be, we are nothing alike. I can't abide someone so full of pride. I deserve better," she declared, her tone snide.

She walks away, leaving surprised faces behind, but stands still as something comes to mind.
Turning back, she throws a key near his knees.

"I won't be needing these", with that he leaves him alone, her smile was cruel, heart turned into stone.

Feeling stunned and hurt, the man slowly picks up the key, realizing its significance now shattered. With a heavy heart, he turns to his friend, her words coming sinking in.

"Rejection is hurting you, I know. But your arrogance should know how you hurt the ones who actually loved you."

In the silence of the night, he sought forgiveness from the depths of his soul. As Bidisha faded from view, Ishaan knew what he must do, confront his arrogance, and start anew.
