A poem regarding the concepts of change
From the moment of birth, we are changing.
Baby, child, adult, senior and then death.
All through life we are rearranging.
We take our first breath; we lose our last breath.

It is planned, calculated, at times hit and miss.
Some we work at; others we have no control.
With good planning, life could be full of bliss.
Lack of planning, no direction, life takes its toll.

Parents plan for us; strive for our future.
A family, a home, a career if done right.
Life is full of trials, challenges, well intended teachers.
But it is not always easy to keep our goals in site.

With change, there are consequences; we stop, look back.
These affect our goals, people we love, our attitude, our soul.
Consequences help direct us, we refocus, it puts us back on track.
And maybe, just maybe we win; we make our goal.
