Mud season and the hope that spring brings
Naw-Rúz in the North

Mud season
And the end of winter's
Dreary grey before
New Years Day.
Every year:
Snow, rain, snow,
Sleet. Weeks

O
F

Madness
As the ice turns to mud
Returning to ice again.
Clouds gaslighting our
Hope for daffodils.
