How do you see death?
If death is a track,
if it is always the end goal,
when do we sprint?
Is it a continous run to the end?
If death is a track,
when do we slow down to take a breath?
Do we have time to stop and tie our laces,
do we have time to sit down and enjoy the view?
If death is a continous sprint,
We wont ever enjoy the run.
If death is a jog,
We might notice the flowers,
We might notice the breeze lifting our hair from our faces.
But,
what is death is a walk?
Will we notice the paint lining the ground?
Or,
Will we notice the way we drowned?
Will we feel the sun in our faces or will we remember the terrible places?
If death is a track,
We still feel the ground beneath our feet.
Wether it’s a sprint, a run or a walk,
Everyone takes the same path.
But,
It’s up to us how fast we get there.
