| Part 1 The news They tell me I don’t want to know The news They tell me Please don’t cry The news That they refuse to tell me I will not like it The news They make me walk away from But I wish to know So I began to dig Find out what happened Last weekend That Saturday night And I began to ask Even though everyone Avoids me Im a ticking time bomb They don’t want to bear The bad news that would cause me to Explode One friend, who did not realize Told me of the night Which you met another girl And danced The next friend, who asked how I knew Told me of the night Which she put her hands All over you I became determined to find this girl Part 2 The news Which has been kept from me To keep me sane The news Which my friend is asking Who told me The news I’m thinking was never supposed To reach me Yet it did And now I know Her name is somewhere along the lines of mine Her face is much different than you like Her eyes are pools of darkness But people say she is nice Her smile is always hidden like mine She sings and lets everyone know I hate the way I sound, so I don’t And people say she is nice This news Should have been kept from me This news Should have been kept from me Just a little bit longer |
