Ways to become a mentally strong person


[1] Do one thing at a time.

[2] Balance positive and negative thoughts. Don't let negative thoughts depress you. Don't let positive thoughts delude you.

[3] Keep your mind on your goal and be willing to work long and hard for it.

[4] What do you like to do? Why do you like it?

[5] Which problems can you easily solve? Be prepared to solve more difficult problems.

[6] Think of potential solutions to potential problems.

[7] Be kind and compassionate for it reduces the stress in your life.

[8] Develop the skill to break down large goals into smaller subgoals.

[9] Accept situations you cannot control, but solve problems you can solve.

[10] Don't feel responsible for what an entire group of people do.

[11] Don't take anything personally. Most of the things that happen are not related to you.

[12] You can want something without having to need it. Recognize the difference between want and need.

[13] If you truly need help to solve a problem, ask for help. Continue to think of potential solutions.

[14] Don't classify yourself as unlucky or lucky. Just do what you can to make your life and other people’s lives better.

[15] Our past mistakes show us how to do things in a better way. Appreciate those mistakes as lessons learned.

[16] Recognize when emotion clouds your reasoning. Remember that reason solves problems. Emotion highlights your problems.

[17] Don't sweat the small stuff: Most things are small stuff.
