Every 20 February, I am reminded
Unwanted
Rejected
Unloved
Every 20 February, the dagger twists
Impossible to love
Difficult child
A duty not a joy
Every 20 February, I am reminded
Living mistake
Born a stranger
Resented existence
Every 20 February, the dagger twists
Never good enough
Not deserving
Never worthy
Every 1 September, I am reminded
I am love
I am strength
I am enough
