Andy Pohllard discovers he's a time traveler

Andy Pohllard, time traveler

Hello, my name is Andy Pohllard. I’m a time traveler. I try not to be, but sometimes I travel through time. I don’t need a clock or watch to know the time it is now. I always know it. I feel whatever time I’m in.
I first learned that I could travel across time on my seventh birthday. My parents left me in charge of my four-year-old sister. “Now be a big boy now and take care of your sister. If something happens that you don’t know what to do about, tell our neighbor next door. Okay?”
I smiled. “I’m a big boy now. I can take care of sister Emma.”
But immediately after my parents left, Emma began to cry. “Mommy. Mommy. “
I picked up little Emma and tried to figure out what to do. After all, I’m a big boy now. I can figure out what to do. Emma continued to cry while I thought about what to do. I had to do something quickly. Otherwise, Mom and Dad would think I’m not such a big boy.
I told Emma, “I can carry you to Mommy. Would you like that?”
Emma sniffed and nodded her head. I’d planned to carry her round and round, and when she got impatient, I’d say, "It's only a little more".
But as I began walking, I realized I could walk through time to when Mom and Dad returned. I took a step forward and stopped. That is, I stopped in space. I remained six feet from the wall clock with the hour hand on six, and the minute hand on twelve. As I stared at the clock, the hour hand began to move faster than usual. In just a few seconds, the hour hand had revolved around the clock 4 times, and the hour hand now pointed to 10.
The front door opened. Mom and Dad came in. They saw me holding Emma, and Mom came over and picked her up.
“Emma, we’re sorry we were gone so long. But it’s ok now. We’re back.”
Emma hugged Mom. “Mommy. Mommy. Andy carried me to you.”
I never told Mom or Dad what happened.
