Seeing older family members pass I just wondered..... so I wrote this in March 1997.
DEATH

When I am dead and gone,
will this earth carry on?
Am I a dream that never was,
reaching for clouds so far above?
Is life not what it seems,
from rolling meadows to lovely streams?
What if I am to be,
grasping out to eternity?
As the darkness moves in,
will I repent and confess my sins?
Then in time as it stands still,
will I see God and his good will?
Only then will I know,
what will be when its time to go.
