The glory of the castle of the King of kings
When we go to Mass, the candles are lit. Pillars of light, engaging our nostrils with the oddly comforting smell of beeswax, naturally drawing our eyes towards the center, where our King is seated. We our King is unlike any other. For His castle is a place of worship, that even the peasants may come to. It is not limited to one single place, but in every church building over the entire world.

At the same time, the King is present at every one of these castles, at every time. He is not bound to one place, but is present in all nations. Yet He is also found in each and every single building. What are His clothes? Glory and honour. Our Host, in the form of Host. The Lord, and Saviour of all, exalted in a piece of bread. In a very real way, our Lord physically present on Earth, despite His residence in Heaven. That's the greatness of our King, not only is He everywhere, but He is seated on the throne in the place we all desire to go. All the saints in Heaven, along with us, singing to our King. Praising our King. Loving our King.

The best part? He's not distant, like a dictator. He knows every single name, of every single person in His Kingdom. All of the people of the Church, in every single city, throughout all of time, along with all those prior, are known *personally* by Him. He makes time for every single one of them - and has loved each of them before they were even born.

Anyone can be a part of His Kingdom, there is nothing getting in the way of you becoming His servant. To serve for Him, the greatest honor, in His eyes, the greatest service. He sees you even right now, and you can see Him if you follow the flickering flame of the candle light. The flame which points to the Light Himself.
