What, Are You Kidding Me?

Other than his face, his voice, his family, and his complete and total lack of honesty, sincerity, morality, ethics, humility, compassion and empathy, the thing I hate most about Trump is how aggressively inescapable he is. Everywhere you look, there he is again, with those gums flapping away, saying many things that don't actually mean anything. He's like a hysterically flailing parade balloon run amok, or like a Godzilla-like monster slowly awakening from his slumber deep within an enormous landfill. It's been one day since his flatulent return, and already the daily news outrage cycle is furiously churning out stories about pardoning horn-hat weirdos, shilling crypto scams, toadies throwing Nazi salutes and his concubine's idiotic hat. I'm doing my best to ignore it, but it's just impossible. He just won't go away, not even for a minute.

It's been almost ten years of non-stop Donald fucking Trump, every day, all the time. Never before has a public figure with so little going for him risen to this degree of ubiquity. He got himself elected president TWICE based on nothing but his endless babbling and freakish arm dances, and there's just no end in sight. Earlier today, I read some dopey story about how he wants to change the new NFL kickoff rules, and all I could do was SIGH, just like that. I cannot believe anyone really wants to do this again.
