The Second Trump Administration
Will start their second term.
Trump 2.0.

A shadow hangs over us
And the world
Waits with baited breath
Wondering what will happen.

The mystery still to be solved
Is which Trump will emerge
As President?

Will he become the President
Of the whole country
Offering much needed leadership
Hope and optimism?

Or will he give in
To his worst instincts
And govern from a hard right position

Ushering in fear and loathing
Especially among immigrants
The LGBTQ community

And the growing “nones”
Population in the Blue cities

Only time will tell
We hope for the best
But need to prepare

For the start
Of an illegal democratic backsliding

Like in his Hungary
The home of Orbán
His political soul mate?
