A Princess writes a poem to herself to work through her emotions about a forced marriage.
I don't want to marry the Prince my father has chosen for me.
He is handsome. He is beautiful but I don't want to be bothered.
We danced at the balls. He is a great dancer. He makes good tea.
Getting married for royalty is a pain and to me, a life long curse.

He looks at me. I sigh. I don't know what love is. Neither did my mother.
He is handsome. He kissed me. You know. I really like that long kiss.
He takes my hand. I feel warm inside. He has a great smile. I do purr.
I am not a cat. I am a woman who likes to be free. Marriage will be a bliss?

He is a few years older then me. I am not in love with anyone but I like this man.
I like him more then any man I know. We dance. My heart skips a beat. Did I say that?
We will be King and Queen someday and we will rule over all the oceans and the land.
The smile. The maid in waiting who asked him to dance. I did hiss like a mean, spirited cat!

I was jealous. I don't want him but I don't want anyone to take him away from me.
I watched him drank punch. I watch him with my father. I get all warm and tingly inside.
My father could have chosen an old, ugly man. We walked and he hugged me by the sea.
That stirred up something in me. He kissed me, I sighed. He's a God. To him, I will abide.

I have done some thinking. I want his kisses. He pressed against me. I was ready to submit.
His handsome face. His muscles. He masculine voice. My heart screamed you want this man.
My handsome Prince. I know I am in love. Going to get married. It is time for me to commit.
My heart cries out for him and I am more happy to give myself to him. I love you, take my hand!
