playing gospel music at a bar?

I wanted to play the organ in the Cosmos Bar.
Killing some time one day, drinking my way to hell.

Kicking back in the cosmos bar, twenty drinks too sober.
Watching the world walking by me.
All around me despair, people feeling lost.
My thoughts turn blue following the dismal news.

However, there was a keyboard
At the back of the bar.
All ready for the band to play/
Seeing the organ standing there.
Telling me it was time to play.

Onward I thought,
Not doing anything but playing/
Getting into the mad spirit, bad craziness in the air.
Even as the bar patrons starting cheering
My I thought I can do this, I can play the organ.
Eventually I found myself playing gospel music.
Really getting into the wild spirit.
Killing them with my musical genius.
Then reaching the divine spirit.
That is all around us.

Only if we know how to see it.
That is the answer to our prayers.

Even in the middle of a bar.
Especially as one drinks oneself to hell.
Nonetheless, one can find God.
God is everywhere it seems,
Even for the denizens of the Cosmos Bar
But I digress.
Eventually, I joined the band, "playing that funky music, white boy"
Divine madness turning to funky soul music..

On to today's form: It will not be an easy one as I want to write you to write an acrostic in which you have to use the following sentence as your starting letters: Ik kwam haast ongemerkt tot een gebed.

(it is part out of a Dutch song in which the I-person sits in church, listening to the organ playing and without realizing came to prayer.)

The title should be: My prayer.
Information about the form can be fond here: "Acrostic"
