A look forward to what we can accomplish
Dear Me!!

This is going to be the year we finish at least one novel.......That shouldn't be too hard really as I have several that are close to half written. Still it makes me want to laugh maniacally at the thought.

Okay then let's set a goal for writing every day. Fifteen minutes straight at least once a day. Doesn't sound so bad. Fifteen minutes could be squeezed in during the morning or before going to bed. That can be done.

Let's do something for our self-esteem. How about finding one thing to be grateful for every day and one thing positive about us. So a lot of the time it's probably going to be for something to do with my writing. Still doesn't sound like a terrible job.

I'm already working on reading more this year. We kind of slacked off on it last year so we need to double down a bit.

Let's find some relaxation by honing our crafting skills. We used to crochet a lot and we do like diamond painting....

we got given all that gray scale coloring at Christmas. That will help with some mindfulness activity.

We always say we want to learn new things but never get around to doing it. Like earlier this year, we said we were going to learn the true story of King Richard and the Legend of Robin Hood. Let's look that up this month. When we take the books we got now back to the library would be a good opportunity to research.

Somehow this seems like a lot and then again not so much. I don't want to overwhelm us but I don't want it to be too easy either.

We can do this if we just keep going and don't let the set backs throw us.

Even though we don't look that often, I'll see you in the mirror. Let's be kind when we do.
