The Strength of Kindness

To speak only good,
to show concern,
to like another person,
to wish your friend's feelings to be in harmony,
to offer whatever help is needed...

These are the strengths of kindness.
If Unkindness comes my way,
it is ok,
for I have the strength of kindness.

I care for what I may do for others
more than for what others may do for me.
I have made mistakes.
It is ok,
for I have the strength of kindness.

I enjoy being kind.
The moments of sharing kindness
are lasting rewards.
