So at a certain part of the dream i was standing at the edge of an empty beach, in awe of the serenity the ocean brought before me. Suddenly a tiny raft appeared and i made my way into the ocean. **not really sure about what happened here precisely but the next part i do remember more vividly**
the raft at this point had been replaced by a fancy boat precisely big enough for one person to enjoy. The sun was setting in its mesmerising way along the horizon as i stood on the bow, with either a drink or smoke in my hand, not sure anymore.

As the sunset was reaching its apex in how beautiful it could get, the water ahead of the boat started to move. And before I knew it I found myself in the midst of what I think were around 8~9 “mermaids” elegantly traversing the waters around the boat. The way the sunlight was now also reflecting off their scales left me in a state of semi-paralysis, only able to soak in the sight before me. I noticed that some of them were making sounds which could be described as singing or music and i took a step closer towards the edge to see it all more clearly. Shortly after stepping forward one of the mermaids jumped up and grabbed that which I was holding in my hand and fell back ever so gracefully into the water. I didn’t get a good enough look at this mermaid, but this act of sweet maleficence inspired me to find out more.

What I knew so far is that the color scheme of her scales/accessories/hair were close to darker blue tones, with hints of several other colours like golden orange tones and perhaps some gems. After a short while she showed herself again, but covering most of her face. I was however able to get a glimpse of the two pearls she’d probably call her eyes. And for some reason they felt somewhat familiar.
I decided to peep my head overboard to get an even closer look, and consequently fell right into her trap. She soar above the water one more time showing off her enchanting self again, and dragged my bewitched self along with on the way down.

As I hit the water my body felt heavier than usual, not enabling me to swim back up but instead sink. I was able to hear a sound going around me, and saw her swimming around me as I was sinking. The sound started off very muffled, as my ears were suddenly filled with water. For some mysterious reason my hearing started coming back as I kept drowning further, and not just that, I noticed that i was capable to see the underwater sharper as well. At the moment when I realised i was also still able to breathe, all my senses started working on two hundred percent for just a split second. In this instance I was able to see the mysterious yet enthralling beauty of the devious and enticing being before me, who was still covering most of her face.

The sound she had been making was her laugh, and now that I was finally hearing it clearly there was no doubt about it. I only know of one person with a laugh uncanny as that one.

after that I have a bunch of vague notes written down, but unfortunately not enough to write something coherent aboust~
