This poem is about displacement of Refugee.
Goodbye, my home(I used to call it), I’m leaving now, Into the dark abyss, I go. My heart is heavy, tears do fall, As I plea farewell to all.
What lies forth, I cannot say, But I must face it with dismay. My future is uncertain, my past is enigma, Into the gloom, I’m all alone.
But hope still hints in my heart, That one day, I’ll find a new start. Where peace and joy will fill my days, And all my sufferings will wither.
So goodbye, my friends, I’ll miss you all so much, But I must go, wherever I go. Into the dark abyss, I try, Hoping to find a brighter ahead.
Niamat Ullah Bashar ( I wrote it with disheartening about the policy of repatriation And deportation of millions of Afghans into the dark abyss)
