Christmas Snow

Santa Claus was pacing in front of the reindeer barn as he studied weather maps.

“No snow for Christmas! What will I do?” he muttered.

Frosty overheard and spoke.

“That can’t happen, Mr. Claus. I figured it out.”

Santa looked at the dapper snowman and sighed.

“Thanks for the offer. But I’m not sure there is anything that can be done!”

Without another word, the snowman began to head North to talk to the King of Snow. It was a long journey, but he was determined to make sure Santa had snow for his Christmas ride and return.

After what seemed like weeks, but was only days, Frosty arrived at the palace. The guards at the gate, after hearing what he wanted, escorted him to the Ice Throne Room. Hearing the clash of arms, the Monarch of Snow awoke.

“Who is this peculiar creature?” he blustered stormily.

“My name is Frosty. I’m a snowman. I have come to ask for snow for Christmas so Santa Claus can make his yearly ride.”

“Santa Claus? Santa Claus! That ingrate. Not once has he thanked me for the snow, I send each year with a gift from his workshop! I like gifts.”

“I see. If he were to send you a gift, what would you like?”

One of the guards whispered to him, Frosty nodded with a smile.

“I’m sure that can be arranged, in fact, I’ll take care of that gift myself!

Saying a polite yet formal goodbye to the King of Snow, Frosty headed back to the North Pole with the help of a brisk tail wind courtesy of the King.
