Currently, the capital city of India, New Delhi is confronting catastrophic air pollution leading to the closure of educational institutions, offices and etc. As of the time of writing the AQI level is 219, indicating the air unhealthy for inhaling. It is very pleasing to know that Govt. has taken initiatives such like Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), temporary ban of construction activities and etc.
With similar to Delhi, air pollution is also increasing in different cities at alarming rate. This destruction can be traced to emissions of vehicles, and the leaving of industries.
So, I request the editor to highlight the chaotic situation in the newspaper so public awareness can be spread at the highest.
