Writing Narrative. *warning* May include foul language and derogatory terms. *warning* You are walking along the road and suddenly an alien craft dips down and beams you up into the ship. Renezme and Diana wake up on the ship only to see complete darkness. They fumbled around for a light switch with rickety motions thinking that it was a prank that the boys did to get back at them. Startling them they hear a loud growl. Frightened and shocked they see a sudden bright light that was a dimmed reddish color but was enough to make them both identify what they saw. They saw two gargoyles that were pretending to be statues but in truth both girls could clearly see that they were alive. These two gargoyles had dark brown wings that look as if by touching them it would only cause a painful and torturous slow death. Their eyes were a dark red color that made the two girls think of hell, and the gargoyle’s face... it was unexplainable, but it was what made the girls know that the gargoyles were alive. The repulsive creatures tried to speak to them but didn’t know that Renezme and Diana couldn’t understand, they got frustrated to the point that they wanted to hurt them since they weren’t responding to their demands. Diana was the one to catch on that the beasts in front of them might have wanted to talk to them, but that small moment of understanding disappeared as soon as the gargoyle on the left stepped towards them. Renezme and Diana knew right away what was going to happen next, so they ran as far as they could out of the grotto where the monsters were residing. Diana ran ahead following the dark cleared but sour smelling halls thinking that Renezme was right behind her, she wasn’t. “Renezme, Renezme, where are you?” she yelled, as she slowed down to a halt. “We have been best friends since forever, I can’t let this happen to her. What have I done?” Diana turned the way she just ran from and took off in a sprint hoping that she wasn’t too late by the time she found Renezme, that the repugnant monster hadn’t taken her already. With all her heart Diana hoped that Renezme was alright. Once again Diana came to a stop, but this time because of the bright light she saw from her right. She was afraid of what might be in the room nonetheless went in anyway with the thought that Renezme was inside, and Renezme was. However, Renezme wasn’t alone, the two gargoyles were right in front of her holding what seemed to be a crystal ball. Diana rushed to Renezme’s side making a blunder of knocking down the glassed tube filled with bubbling green pus looking on Renezme, that was at the edge of the white table. Which to her insight was covered with weird medical looking instruments as well as fortune-telling objects. She then was thrown aside to the wall with inhuman strength, twisting her ankle in the progress. “You idiotic human, do you understand the gravity of what you have done? Do you think by dropping thy potion you will blight our goal??! Well worry not, it won’t, we have back up!!” The first gargoyle next to the ugly purple shelf turned to the other gargoyle and spoke, “kind, respected and wise brother let’s not exploit this human, lets put her to good use, we will decimate her and use her as sacrifice for our rituals!!” “Good idea young sib, I shall heed your words… NOW HUSH, we must finish this.” The older looking gargoyle closed his eyes, while Diana tried to shake Renezme out of the blank state she was in. “Renezme, Renezme, snap out of it.” Diana screamed as she rose her hand preparing to slap her. Renezme gasped, trembled for a good minute and started a coughing fit, when Renezme looked up she was completely different from how she was before. Instead of her black plain hair, it was now a fiery red, the type of red that makes you want to keep staring at it in a hypnotized manner. Her eyes were a vivid blue, with purple tinged specks, unlike the black orbs she had before. What surprised Diana the most was Renezme’s attire, it had somehow changed without Renezme not having to strip, she was wearing this tight daring red dress that the original Renezme would have never worn, with a golden tiara on her head and an interesting looking purple staff was held on her right hand. “You repulsive aliens, what have you done to her? Why does she look like this? This is not Renezme, please just give me back my best friend not this fake wannabe looking person.” Diana screeched with tears streaming down her face. “I might as well introduce you to us properly, sorry for the late introduction.” Snorted the gargoyle that was closest to Renezme. “My name is Aldaminak, meaning wise, rich and trustworthy, but you can just call me Damuel, and this is my youngest we call him kenjinado meaning strong, vigorous and bold, but you refer to him as Jatin.” Spoke Damuel with a sense of pride. “Now the answer to your question, we did absolutely nothing to her except take her knowledge of human language that is why we can speak to you now, on the other hand it will take awhile until she can speak. We gave her back most of her memories and showed her inevitable destiny, we aliens or what you humans call us ‘gargoyles’ have that ability and much more. Anyway, that girl as you see her now is her true identity but of course you didn’t know that because you are only a stupid human.” Diana stood wide eyed and stared at what used to be her best friend, she did not know what to think anymore. But she knew that whether Renezme was human or not she didn’t care, she just wanted her best friend back. “Renezme you still know who I am right? It’s me Diana. We have been friends since we were 3 years old that’s 13 years of friendship. Please don’t tell me you are going to throw that away and believe these fools who claim that you have some type of strong inevitable destiny, please Renezme just come back home with me.” Diana pleaded. “NO. I do not wish to go back. Leave me alone you INVADER. Those years of so called FRIENSHIP mean NOTHING.” Renezme hissed in venom to Diana’s plead. Damuel chuckled, while Jatin doubled over in laughter. “You hear that brother? She doesn’t want to go home. She is stronger than we thought. What shall we do with her? Is it time to take her to the king?” Diana fell to her knees sobbing and wheezing, never had she felt so betrayed and heartbroken. Never had Renezme spoke to her in that tone, in fact Diana had never heard her speak to anybody that way before. “UGHH!! The human is so noisy can I eliminate her now brother?” Jatin spoke with annoyance. “YOU ALL BETTER SHUT UP OR I’LL PLACE YOU IN THE DUNGENS.” “OMG, I think she recovered all her memories, this isn’t good, we were only supposed to give her the ones where she hadn’t become princess yet!?!” whispered-yelled Jatin to Damuel. “Damuel, Jatin change to your human forms. Damuel take me to my sister, it has been so long since I have seen her, being human on earth sure sucks up all the memories and energy out of me. You Jatin will place Diana or whatever in the cellar make sure to keep it locked, I’ll see my father later.” Renezme demanded with such confidence that Diana never saw in her. The gargoyles transformed to good looking men and bowed down to Renezme “As you wish princess.” Jatin approach Diana and grabbed her, “why do I have to be with the annoying human?” he said under his breath. “Did you say something Jatin? Do you want me to forever keep you in your human form and throw you to earth, is that what you want?” Jatin bowed down low and spoke sincerely “I am sorry princess for complaining, I do not want to be thrown to earth, so I will quietly take her to the cellar.” “Good.” Renezme took one last look at Diana and left the room with Damuel. “Well…human, it’s just you and me now, shall I take you to the cellar? Yes, I shall. Let’s go.” Jatin chuckled and whistled on their way. *hours later* Diana wakes up in the cellar only to see complete darkness. She fumbled around for a light switch with rickety motions thinking that it was a prank that Renezme did to get back at her for telling her mom that she went to the party and was not with her like Renezme told her mom she was. “I am sorry for ratting you out Renezme, you can stop this prank now, please…” Diana whispered. Startling her she hears a low growl. Frightened and shocked she sees a sudden bright light that was a dimmed reddish color but was enough to make her identify what she saw. It was a red lion, and 10 times scarier than the lions on earth. The lion approached her with lightning speed and with a roar. “Is this how it’s going to end? My pathetic life?” she spoke with disbelief. Diana saw red then she saw black, then absolutely nothing… Will Renezme come to her senses and realize the true meaning of friendship again? Is this the END for Diana? Will she be used as sacrifice for Damuel’s and Jatin’s ritual? Or will Diana live and continue her journey of life? |
