Andrew pulled out his camera quickly snapping the shot. Sandra getting into a car with some guy. As they drove away, he got a good shot at the guy’s face too. This should make his paycheck from Banks.

Sneaky spying was not what Andrew intended when he started his business. Unfortunately, weddings and family reunions never seemed to keep him out of debt. Then when he gave in to spying, because he was getting behind with his rent, he made so much more money! And he was really good at it too; he just had to adjust to the sneaky feel.

Now, this one under his belt, he finally had the confidence, and cash, to pay off Janice’s ring. He hadn’t wanted to propose while he kept getting behind. Now he had money in the bank, a diamond ring, and an occupation to keep it all up. Even if it wasn’t the occupation he’d actually started with.

Tired, he hurried home to get some sleep before tomorrow, when he could finally ask Janice.

Grabbing his mail, he noticed an actual letter stuffed in. Pulling it out, it was from Janice! He tore it open, fear rising as his imagination went straight to the worst. A goodbye note. He should have spent more time with her! She didn’t know what the issue was, she probably thought he was losing interest! Or worse, had somebody new!

He pulled out the single folded sheet inside. Opening it quickly, shaking even, he read the words.

“You are invited to a secret, personal, just you and me party Tuesday night! (and you better show up Mister!) Love you, Janice”

He looked at the ring he had just bought, and decided then and there to be sneaky too, and surprise Janice, with breakfast!

Things went well.
