A haunting journey through emotions lost and connections severed.
The eyes of her were unruly,
filled with nothing more than despair;
no more than rage touched her delicate heart—
a fury she could not contain.

It pained me to see her seething,
ripped of her fragile soul.
But she was so far out of reach
that I could not cure her tender heart.

Her rage destroyed her person,
lost to anger others bestowed,
leaving nothing but anguish in her wake.

There’s no one to ease the pressure;
My last lifeline is bound to sorrow.
So what else is there to do
other than stew in the pit of my undoing?

Side Note:
Rage is a powerful emotion, often overwhelming, and for me, it is frequently intertwined with pain. This unhealthy duo can lead to mental instability and contribute to mental health issues. It’s important to find healthy outlets for anger. Try breathing exercises, or do something physical to release your emotions—scream at nothing, break something safely, or write down your problems. Sharing your feelings and talking to someone can also be incredibly helpful. I’ve seen people use a counting technique, counting down from ten to help manage their emotions. Know your limits and identify what helps you unwind, so your tangled emotions don’t consume you.
