Just a bit of explaining because the preface can be confusing without context |
Levels of (The Hollow Planet) The Bleak: The surface of the planet, devoid of life and matter. It is said that all those who surface simply float off into The Expanse. Vyura Positive: The last semi-livable region before The Bleak, containing little to no life or oxygen. Not many live here, as it is mainly a waste dump. Other Aliases: Bleaker, Tunnel Network A. Vyura Neutral: A hub of life and lively trade, this sector is home to most of the agricultural efforts on the planet. Education and trade thrive here, and this sector currently has no involvement with the Semi-Aqua conflict. Vyura Negative: A transit ground, and full of pockets which secrete the gases that sustain Vyura’s agriculture. This sector is mainly used for transporting goods into Sebh+ and vice versa. Sebh Positive: A city filled with factories and smog, this sector serves as a major production and labor sector. Smoke filters out into Vyura-, which is why many don’t live there. Sebh Neutral: Villages and towns scatter this land, popular for its vast quantities of ores. This sector serves as a sacred ground for Cryst and Itians alike. Sebh Negative/Dryss Positive: Both sectoral regions claim this semi-aquatic cave terrain, causing frequent dispute. Not an official sector, mainly because of the dual claim. Other Aliases: Sebh Aqua, Dryland, the Semi-Aqua. Dryss Neutral: The main body of water in the cave system, and home to the aquatic population of the planet. As a result of the difficulty it presents to travel to this region, it tends to keep to itself. Common exports include raw energy, water, and aquatic ores. Dryss Negative: Unrecognized as a true sector because of the underdeveloped tunnels, this level is home to a small population of aquatic hermits who make sure it stays undeveloped and untouched by anyone. Other Aliases: Tunnel Network D. All sectors lie in succession, from Vyura to Dryss, descending deeper into the planet. |
