We know what it means.
I woke up dead this morning. Of all the
things I could do, waking up dead was not on the list.

Rolling out of bed and looking back at my body was
definitely an eye opener. After a stunned moment
or two, I continued to move through my morning rituals.

Turning, I shuffled down the hall thinking to myself how to deal with this at work. Into the kitchen and over to the coffee pot, the timer had gone off and there was a full pot of coffee.

Reaching for a cup and the coffee pot at the same time, my hands went through both of them.
Holy Crap, now no coffee!! This is starting to look bad. Back down the hallway to the bathroom door, I step through without feeling anything, right through the door, I reach for the toilet seat and my hand goes right
through it.
Oh geez! I can't pick up the seat. Reaching for the toothbrush I find I'm not feeling it either.
Matter of fact I don't feel the need to use
the toilet either.
Stepping back into the living room, what happened next answered a few questions that were running through my head.
The doorbell rang, and I stepped toward the door thinking
how am I going to open it.
The door just swung open before I reached it, and there stood a little cherub looking creature.

"Sorry I'm sorta late. Was supposed to be here immediately after the expiration."

He reached for my hand and we both moved quickly toward the light.

I told this dream to my mom, and she asked, "What happened next?”
“Don’t know, the alarm went off and I woke up.”
