Simple magic
George stared down through the gate at his five dollar bill. That was his lunch money. His stomach growled he hadn't had breakfast or dinner the night before. That bill represented the first food he would've had in twenty-four hours.

A strange little woman stopped and stared down at the grate with George. "Lose something?"

"Yeah my lunch money."

The little woman clapped her hands together suddenly, "Let's see what can be done about this. Close your eyes a moment and focus on the money being back in your pocket."

George sighed and did as he was told.

"Open them."

George opened his eyes and was shocked the bill no longer sat at the bottom of the drain. He blinked.

"Check your pocket."

George stuffed his hand in his pocket and found the crumpled five dollar bill. "How?"

"Son, there’s a little witch in all of us."
