A poem to pair with Debussy's "Clair de Lune"
O Moonlight,
on waters deep
Keeper of mem'ry archived in sleep
An ache that leads one like some siren's song
to wander dimmed chambers
burdened, together, by a want so strong.

O Moonglow,
shining so pale
Rippled light dancing, vesting its tale
O, take this longing, bear it far away
where, covered by grace mild and meek,
troubled souls obtain heaven's peak
and, consoled, reach shelter, ever to stay.
