Blossoms.
God is the author of beauty.
Almonds.
Fruit is a sign of usefulness.

The bud did not open for the blossom.
The blossom did not die for the fruit.
Aaron's rod produced all three at once.

There is no need to discard
beauty of character
for the usefulness of service.
