As time goes by.
WHAT WILL BE WILL BE

Traveling the last long road,
Fast approaching is the end.
In his heart is a heavy load,
As he searches for a friend.

Nights are so blue and lonely,
Lying there with empty dreams,
With thoughts of the past only,
No happiness to find it seems.

The days pass so swiftly by,
Looks but no friend to find,
Although he does seem to try
Of the past to clear his mind.

And now looks for a dinner date,
With some one to sit and talk,
Watch some movies, sit up late
Or go outside for an evening walk.

The days just turn into weeks,
Then weeks into months you see.
He is not finding what he seeks,
Knows now what will be will be.
