The Industry Needs of the Crown of Thorns
Virteria is not without it’s own needs and must rely on other nations to support its powerhouse, and without would suffer tremendously. these are the following things Virteria heavily relies on.

Mithril, adamantine and most ores, raw energy, elemental crystals, magical power cores, as well as wood, natural fibers, vast amounts of food as well. This includes grains, vegetables, and livestock. Exotic ingredients like rare herbs are incredibly in demand as well. Cultural and Artistic influences greatly support the nation with its insatiable thirst for grandeur. This also includes exotic fabrics and luxury, these include rare silks, secrets, and precious stones, and fine wines.

There are also ancient artifacts that it needs so it usually imports ancient artifacts and black market forbidden knowledge. Some tech also requires quantum materials and exotic energy materials, so even other planes (like Earth) materials are highly coveted.

Labor and Experts for exotic scholars and technicians are in great demand alongside their already massive archive of sages. These people tend to assist with otherwise expensive explorative knowledge.

Manual labor and Craftsman are extremely in demand as their products, though many able to be created by AI, they lack the touch of a living being. Skilled workers, engineers and builders are always sought out.

Biodiversity and Fauna imports a lot of exotic animals and magical creatures for various uses and pets.

There are also important biological needs Virteria doesn’t have or able to sustain due to it’s unique infrastructure and demands.

While it is a powerhouse, Virteria relies heavily on imports of natural resources, food, rare magical ingredients, and cultural goods. They bring in specialized labor, exotic knowledge and luxury items to maintain high standards of living and cutting edge advancement. It remains a global leader while staying connected to the world around it.

They have a booming tech and magic sector, but a huge reliance on imports to support the nation. There is great social strife as only those with great power are generally considered and held in high regards. Signs of decline involves limited natural resources and its rapid expansion i not sustainable without greater resource management. This in turn, is making Virteria thirst for more and could potentially lead to war over other smaller neighboring nations.

As for internal struggles, the Queen is facing managing the valance equally between growth and stance of reliance on others. Her polices have only temporarily for the last few hundred years in place, but without further land nor material to sustain its booming population and so forth, things are getting out of hand.

In the present of the book settings it appears stable but the warning signs occur rapidly as disparity and the growing need for more is taking its toll as if it doesn’t take significant strides in changing how things are going, war for expansion is inevitable.
