A poem that I wrote after my mom passed away.
Sounds of you breathing like that of my beating heart were silenced by the morning that we were torn apart.
Torn from a love that could never be retraced, taken from a woman who could never be replaced.
Broken, a bond, no bridge for my hopes. All my love and laughter hanging from the ropes.
My mirror hasn’t smiled since you went . You left before I told you just all I had to say.
I needed you to know that I treasured every breath. Every single one, until you met your death.
