Me and AI

Recently, it has come to my attention that some users rely on AI as a means of communication within this site. Some have entered contests, asked for reviews, and other services from the site members. There was a wonderful young lady who used AI in my contests. I knew it as the work was too perfect, but others felt that she had made a huge digression from the truth and purpose of this and other sites like it. I still awarded her work as she had to have written the work in her own language before it was translated into English through the use of AI.

I believe that everyone has the right to free expression, even if they can't speak English like a majority of the members of this site. I am more interested in everyone having some fun, making some connections and being included. I would hope that we would, as a site, embrace anyone's difference rather than come down hard on someone for using ai when they can't say it in their own language as none of us would understand it. In that case, we would be the ones using AI to decipher what was said, just as she used AI to be understood.

Anyway, for me and mine, if you use AI, add a note. That is all I ask so that others who disagree will know to pass on by and leave the work unread and unrated.
