Mike Tyson

I heard Mike Tyson’s coming back.
He’s scheduled for a fight.
I wonder if that other guy
has heard of Tyson’s bite.

Oh, Holyfield remembers him.
He nearly lost his ear.
It isn’t just Mike’s mighty punch
that you would have to fear.

He’s in the Hall of Fame, you know,
they call him Iron Mike.
They say when he connects with you
it’s like an iron spike.

But he is getting older now.
Maybe he’s not as tough.
I guess this young guy that he meets
will find out fast enough.

Still, I would not get in that ring,
no matter the amount.
But if I did I’d lay down fast
and stay there for the count.

He may be old, he may be slow,
he may be past his prime,
but all he needs is for his fist
to catch you just one time.

And if he gets too close to you,
yeah, if he gets up near,
you know he has an appetite
for chewing on an ear.

So heed my word and stay away.
Just watch it on TV.
As for that guy opposing him?
Well, better him than me.
