Perils of Summer

The hot summer is coming.
Be ready to stay cool
When the temperature is in the 90s
take a dip in the pool.
If you work in a garden
Lemonade is a good drink.
The color is an option
But my favorite is pink.
A shade tree is lovely
and can cool you and a friend
Some breezes will circulate
the air as I recommend.
Cars cars can be a danger
for a person or a pet
Please don't leave them sitting there
because overheating is a threat.
Cool nights are much nicer
A walk in moonlight is Devine
Just remember the mosquitoes
sings a blood-thirsty whine.
If you don't like winter,
then summer is your thing.
But too much heat is unbearable
and just more than static cling.
