Kicking back what has been taking from them

In the depths of darkness, where empathy is lost,
I find myself tangled in a story Untold,
with that of emotions

My mind, a radar, receiving your signal of despair,
Contemplating disillusion, in this world so unfair.

Morals abandoned, in this cruel and absent realm,
Laughter silenced, as pain pierces, overwhelming irrefutable.
From the brink of sanity, I teeter on the edge,
Humanity collected, a self-righteous pledge.

Self-love, self-hate, a paradox unsatisfied,
Bound by this torment, eating at my soul inside.
How can kindness thrive in a world so unkind?
As the trilogy unfolds, my soul seeks to find.

Immortality, divine or a curse in disguise,
Thoughts in my head fried, as reality lies.
Tread lightly, I cannot decipher the unseen,
In this world we call home, infinity's routine.

They ask for kindness, devoid of revenge's thrill,
Redemption they preach, but who caused this ill will?
Who stripped away my love, my world, my breath?
Whose dark hand decided my love's untimely death?

No kindness, no righteousness, no empathy in sight,
I question the entity that plunged me into this night.
For my love walks no more, their soul departed,
The breath of life stolen, by one cruel and cold-hearted.

Who deems themselves worthy to take such a right?
What darkness in this world has condemned my plight?
Evil consumes my heart, a sinister force within,
The demon brews, seeking justice, this battle to begin.

I lay and wait, in shadows of this endless night,
Moon's hazy gaze falls upon us, devoid of light.
Silent as a predator, I stalk my chosen foe,
To strip away their life, as they did to love's glow.

They beg for mercy, pleading for their own breath,
But no plea, no mercy can save them from their death.
They shall meet their maker, face judgment's call,
I gaze into their eyes, as life's final curtain falls.

Kneeling, I seek no forgiveness, no remorse to impart,
For solace is found in reclaiming justice, my heart.
No longer consumed by the fire that once burned,
Before I grow cold, redemption is earned.

No regrets shall burden me, as the fire within subsides,
In this darkened world, where love's essence hides.
The echoes of my journey shall fade into the night,
For in solace and redemption, my soul takes flight.
The End
