Here, touch the Bible. Touch the Bible, Calvin/Abby/Bastian. Name every child, and Hold out Bible. "The Bible tells us about God and Jesus. Today’s Bible story is about Jesus’s friends.

"Jesus was good friends with Mary, Martha and Lazarus. Jesus loved them very much."

"Lazarus got very sick and Lazarus died." Show sick/dead Lazarus, then put away.

"Mary and Martha were very sad their brother Lazarus died." Show sad face.

"Jesus is very powerful and He made Lazarus alive again." Show picture of Jesus. Bring out happy Lazarus. Show happy face.

"Mary and Martha and Lazarus were so happy when Jesus came to visit them." Show happy face.

"Mary loved Jesus so much." Lean forward, draw out "so much." Show pictures of Mary and Jesus.

"Mary put good smelling perfume on Jesus feet." Sniff, show pleasure.

"Mary worshiped Jesus."

Only Jesus is perfect.
