A bit like Braveheart, love, battle, sadness.
In the hills and across the moors
The daylight vanished, night time once more.

And in this night I called to her, asking for triumph and peace
She replied to me with care and promise, she said my heart she'll keep.

I wept as I readied for battle, she cried and begged me to stay
I longed to be beside her in every possible way.

I fashioned my sword and mounted my horse, promised her I'd return
But I died in battle and never returned, her heart forever has yearned.

Do you believe in ghosts? For I will return one rainy cold dark night
To roam the hills and visit the lochs and catch my lover's sight.
