Cinderella’s True Story
Cinderella’s True Story

Cinderella was a poor orphan girl taken in by her greedy aunt and uncle and treated as little more than a slave girl. She did not know her parents nor did she know their secret ancestry. In fact, she did not remember them as all as they died in a mysterious accident when she was two years old.

Her aunt Matilda told her all the time that her parents died with nothing, and it costs them a lot of money to raise Cinderella, who should be happy that she had not been killed when her parents died.

One day she was out walking when she encountered a mysterious woman. She said that she was her fairy grandmother and was going to make things right. She said that her parents had died as they were the rightful heirs to the throne. And that they shared a secret that few knew.

Matilda and her husband George had stolen the King’s fortune and were hiding it. The new prince is a decent guy and if he knew what Matilda and George had done and that you were the princess that should become the King, he would set things right. But you have to go to the big dance and make a big impression on him and I will help you do so. You just have to follow my lead. You can call me Auntie Em.

“Okay, Auntie Em. What do I need to do?”

“Wait until after your aunt and your cousins leave for the dance. Then sneak out and meet me here for your transformation into a princess. We will take you to the dance in style, and no one will recognize you. When you dance with the prince, he will breathe in a special perfume which will make him fall in love with you. At midnight you will have to leave and return to the house.

The prince will be looking for you and your Rubby slipper which you will accidentally leave behind. Then the next day we will send the prince a letter telling the truth. He will come to your house and arrest your aunt and Uncle on charges of killing your parents and stealing your inheritance. When he meets you, everything will be revealed.”

The next night Cinderella waited until everyone left for the ball. She sneaked out of the back and found Auntie Em dressed in a fantastically beautiful dress, accompanied by three handsome young lads she introduced as her true cousins.

She noticed that there was something not quite right about them. They all looked the same, as identical triplets perhaps, and had a pan-ethnic look, could pass for anything but had a vaguely non-human appearance and spoke with a strange accent.

They would be her bodyguards that night and take her back at midnight.
They went into the carriage that somehow flew through the air and landed just outside the palace gate. They went on foot.

When they were announced, there was a stir in the room as she was introduced by her real name, Maria Van Weber, daughter of the late King, returning home from an extended stay in the Americas.

She noticed that her aunt, and cousins were very nervous and kept looking at her with daggers in their eyes, if looks could kill she would have died on the spot. The cousin Todd brought her a drink and took her to meet the prince.

They danced the night away, there was magic in the air. At the stroke of midnight, Todd and her Aunt Em dragged her away, and as instructed she left her ruby slipper behind.

Pandemonium reigned in the palace. The prince demanded to know where she lived, that princess Maria Von Weber. No one knew.

Three days later he set out to find her. When he approached her house, her fairy godmother appeared and handed him a letter explaining everything.

Cinderella was summoned and she returned to the palace and a wedding was planned.

She told the prince, that she forgave her aunt and Uncle for their crimes and hoped that he would forgive them and give them a pardon.

He said,

“On one condition. Rumors have it that you and your parents, cousins, and Auntie Em are not human beings. I need to see you as you really are.”

She smiled and said,

“Sure”

And turned into her real self – a green-skinned reptilian creature. And growled,

“Now that you have seen me, I must kill you and eat you. Only then can we be together.”

She ran at him, kissed him and he was converted.

They got married and reigned for many years. Auntie Em served as their senior advisor. Her uncle and aunts were sent to exile to Sirius their home planet.

Now you know the ending of the story.
