Truth to Oneself

Gaze up at the tallest mountains in the distance and climb to the highest peak,
Wisdom is in the giving and Knowledge is for those that seek.
In the Endless path of life and along the winding roads,
The good decisions, the bad decisions made with a full heart and a yearning soul.
Not knowing the future may hold for all but remember all comes with a past.
Finally taking that leaping chance and if it succeeds making it last.
Opening your mind and learning to accept new things,
We learn to fight to back to demolish any pain.
With a beating heart and a shattered mind,
We dream at night of the stars that shine.
A rose in a bush can be a forever wish,
Where life is forever flowing but not served on a silver dish
Slowing it down for there’s things that the can be quickly passed,
Cherishing those times so we have them with us for all that is last.
