Two people are bird watching in a park. |
FADE IN: EXT. CENTRAL PARK - DAY A white WOMAN is in a park, watching birds. Along comes a black MAN, who is also a bird watcher. Despite being a fair distance away from her, the woman becomes nervous of the man. WOMAN (to man) You stay away from me. Don’t you come near me. MAN What’s your problem? I’m here the same as you. To watch birds. WOMAN How do I know that? MAN Why do you think I have these binoculars? WOMAN So you can look at naked women through their apartment windows, you pervert. MAN Come on. I’m not trying to bother anybody. WOMAN I don’t care. Just stay away. Or I’ll call the cops. MAN Okay, lady. I’m leaving. Once the man leaves, she becomes much calmer, and goes back to her bird watching. But then she notices something strange. A rather large flock of chickadees, probably the cutest members of the avian kingdom, have gathered in the trees surrounding her. And they all are staring at her intently. She senses that this could be a problem. And she’s right. Suddenly, this group of a hundred or so birds decides to attack her, pecking at various parts of her body, to the point of death. Apparently even such a small bird can be a danger when there’s enough of them. FADE OUT. THE END |
